Chris Jericho Introduces His New Faction As The “Inner Circle,” Responds To “We The People” Chant

On tonight’s episode of Dynamite, AEW world champion Chris Jericho introduced the wrestling universe to his newly formed faction, which included a surprise debut from Bellator star Jake Hager on last week’s episode, as the “Inner Circle.” The group consists of Hager, Sammy Guevara, Ortiz, and Santana.

Later during his promo, Jericho was praising Hager as a legitimate MMA contender when the Boston fans started a “We The People” chant, Hager’s old catchphrase during his WWE days. Jericho responded by calling the phrase “stupid” and saying that it’s “dead and buried.” He also called that packaging one of the “poorest creative decisions” he could ever think of.
