Hulk Hogan’s return to the WWE this past Monday on Raw was met with mixed reviews. Some were excited that arguably the biggest star in the history of the business was once again appearing on television. Some were disgusted that someone who had made racially insensitive comments was allowed back into the fold.
You can add Curtis Axel to the camp that was happy to see “The Hulkster” return. He took to social media to thank him for mentioning his father during the tribute to “Mean Gene” Okerlund:
Thank you @HulkHogan for mentioning my dad in your tribute to #GeneOkerlund tonight. Caught me off guard and choked me up. But your right… Mean Gene involved in a tag team feud between Warrior/Macho Man vs Mr. Perfect/Piper is definitely happening!

It remains to be seen when and if Hogan will be on WWE TV again, but it appears that he at least has some support within the WWE.
