Dragon Gate and Pro Wrestling Noah Forced To Cancel Events Due To COVID-19

Just when it looked like things were improving in Japan, the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic continues to rock the pro-wrestling industry.

Dragon Gate and NOAH have both announced the postponement of upcoming events due to the virus outbreak, with the Governor of Kanagawa asking for a lockdown to stop any further spread.

Dragon Gate tells fans that they should be back up and running by April 4th when they return to Shizuoka. However, that all depends on how well the virus becomes contained in that time. The promotion writes:

Due to the ongoing measures to prevent further spread of Covid-19, we have made the decision to cancel the following live events:

3/28 Gifu Juroku Plaza
3/30 Mielparque Nagano
3/31 TKP Garden City Chiba

Refund information will be available soon.

Touring is tentatively scheduled to resume on 4/4 in Shizuoka. However, the current circumstances may require further cancellations or postponements. If this becomes necessary we will announce it as soon as possible.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
