Former Wrestling Promoter Releases Rare Video Of Andre The Giant

John Arezzi, a wrestling promoter from the pre-Wrestlemania era, recently reappeared on Twitter after a long absence from the public eye. He has amassed a nice following as a result of having a tremendous amount of unseen wrestling footage that he had personally filmed.

He recently released a rarely seen match between Andre The Giant and Professor Tanaka from a show at Madison Square Garden in the 1970s. The video can be seen below:

Arezzi also recently shared some still shots that he took from Andre’s Madison Square Garden debut against Buddy Wolfe:

In addition to footage on Andre the Giant, Arezzi has also recently released a video of Mil Mascaras during his Madison Square Debut as well as one of “Classy” Freddie Blassie taking on Pedro Morales for the then-WWWF championship:

In addition to what he’s already released, Arezzi has hinted that he will be posting footage from a rarely seen match between Bruno Sammartino and John Tolos.

With all of the rare footage that he is willing to present to the public, Arezzi would appear to be a must-follow for any wrestling historian.
