Jungle Boy took part in a media scrum during Scarrcast. During the interview, he discussed his character as well as whether he’s feeling any pressure for his six man tag match to deliver. Here are the highlights:
On How He Wants His Character To Be Perceived:
In a way, the whole Jungle Boy character, it is me but it’s separate from me. I try to keep it separate from my personal life. I think in a way, you just have to watch it. Hopefully, what I’m doing will just kind of explain itself. I’m here to entertain people, want them to have a good time. Just check it out, I think you’ll like it.
On If There’s Pressure For His Six Man Tag Match To Deliver:
For me, I don’t really think about it that much. We’ve done a lot of interviews and they always ask about WWE, and the thing I think is, this right here wouldn’t be happening right now if people were necessarily content with what WWE is putting out. I think, already, what we’re doing is something different for people to see. At least for me, I’m not thinking about being different from that because we already are. I’ve talked about this with Marko Stunt a bit, but we’re guys who wouldn’t be taken seriously in the WWE at all. We’re not huge guys, we’re pretty young. So we’re just here having fun, doing our own thing.
