Kurt Angle came up short in his quarterfinal matchup against Dolph Ziggler at Crown Jewel for WWE’s World Cup. Afterwards, Angle took to Instagram to express his gratitude for being able to compete in his first singles matchup in over a decade. He also took the opportunity to praise Ziggler as one of the WWE’s best talents.
It felt great getting into the ring for my first singles match in WWE in 12 years. I’m disappointed I lost, but Dolph Ziggler is a very, very tough and talented competitor.
