Lars Sullivan is scheduled to return to action imminently, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
There’s no word yet on if Lars will be returning to WWE NXT or debuting on the main roster. Lars was originally scheduled to face John Cena at WrestleMania 35, but as noted, an anxiety situation led to Lars taking some time off.
Lars was also linked with Elias at one point. We noted how there are plans for someone to “shut Elias up” during his musical performance at WrestleMania 35 on Sunday, but there’s no word on if this will be where Lars returns. The Observer notes that Lars returning imminently doesn’t necessarily mean that he will be returning at WrestleMania or even this week.
Triple H was recently asked about Lars during a media call, and he said you have to wait & see but there is more to come. The Observer notes that WWE has handled the “tough and unique” Lars situation well, which may have a lot to do with learning from the mental health situation with Mauro Ranallo from a few years back.
