New Champion Crowned At Tonight’s ROH “War Of The Worlds” In Toronto

Shane Taylor was crowned as the new Ring of Honor television champion at tonight’s War of the Worlds event in Toronto, defeating Brody King, Hirooki Goto, and former champion Jeff Cobb in a Four Corner Survival bout. Taylor stole the victory by tossing Cobb to the outside after he hit his finisher onto King, then spiked the Villain Enterprises member with a Rikishi driver. Cobb…having not been pinned himself…confronted Taylor after the matchup, but generously handed him the title and left without getting physical.
