NXT Turns 10 Years Old, Johnny Gargano Comments On NXT Being Referred To As Developmental

WWE NXT turns 10 years old today. To celebrate, the official WWE Network Twitter account released a video timeline of the yellow-and-black brand’s premiere episode, which saw Chris Jericho face Daniel Bryan. Also former NXT women’s champion Paige and current general manager William Regal each wish NXT a happy birthday. Check it all out below.

Speaking of NXT, the brand’s first triple-crown winner Johnny Gargano was interviewed in character by TMZ. When asked about fans still referring to NXT as the “developmental brand,” Gargano had this to say.

Anybody out there that uses the words ‘main roster’ when talking about Raw and SmackDown, how about you watch the show on Wednesday night? You’ll see the real main roster. You’ll see the best wrestling show on the planet. You will see the best locker room on the planet led by me.
