Pat McAfee Reveals Backstage Incident With Michael Cole At WrestleMania

On the latest episode of the Pat McAfee show, McAfee reveals that Michael Cole blew-up on him backstage at WrestleMania due to the tuxedo shorts that he was wearing prior to joining the pre-show panel. McAfee says that he was moments away from walking out on WWE due to Cole insulting him in front of a large number of people.

He was like yelling. Real. This wasn’t like a rib, or like a gimmick, you could tell there was actual panic.

McAfee then details how he went back to pack up his things, and yelled at a staff member himself when questioned.

You can tell Michael Cole to go f*ck himself, I am leaving. I am not getting punked and yelled at like a child in front of everybody like that.

Michael Cole would later apologize to McAfee after Vince McMahon gave his approval for the shorts based on a photo he was shown of Lebron James wearing them. Check out McAfee’s full story below.
