Seth Rollins Continues to Defend Hell in a Cell Ending

The WWE announced that Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt would compete in a Falls Count Anywhere match for the Universal title at Crown Jewel. When mockingly asked if the match could still end in a disqualification the way Hell in a Cell did, Rollins stood up for WWE’s decision. He explains that it wasn’t a disqualification and that the referee made the right call.

Hell in a Cell ended when Rollins beat Bray Wyatt with every weapon he could find under the ring until he couldn’t move anymore. The referee stopped the match after he felt Rollins went too far. Fans responded by chanting “bullshit,” “refund,” and “AEW.” Wyatt popped back up to attack Rollins with the mandible claw and fake blood as the show went off the air.
