Son Of Chris Benoit Wants To Join AEW, Claims He Is No Longer Allowed At WWE Events

On a recent episode of the Pro and Bro Wrestling Podcast, 26-year old David Benoit, son of the infamous Chris Benoit, spoke out about wanting to join All Elite Wrestling. Benoit reveals that he’s currently been “messing around in the ring” with some of the AEW roster, says that he attended Double or Nothing and All Out, and has a close relationship with current world champion Chris Jericho.

I’m just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys from AEW.

He then states that he’d 100% join AEW if the opportunity arises.

I want to go to AEW one hundred percent. I love AEW. I love what they do for the boys. Take care of them.

UPDATE: Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Benoit claims he is no longer allowed at WWE events, possibly due to wearing an AEW jacket while backstage.
