TAKA Michinoku Will Forfeit Sunday’s BOSJ Tournament Match Due To Injury

New Japan Pro Wrestling issued the following press release announcing that TAKA Michinoku, who has been competing in the Best of the Super Juniors A-Block category, will be unable to compete in Sunday’s matchup against division champion Dragon Lee. Lee will earn 2 points, and will also not be on the card. Check it out below.

TAKA Michinoku to miss Sunday’s event in Chiba due to leg injury

Due to an injury to his right leg, TAKA Michinoku has been ruled to be unable to compete in Sunday’s match in Chiba’s Makuhari tournament.

As a result, he will forfeit his match with Dragon Lee. The eighth match of the event will be cancelled and Dragon Lee will earn two points instead.

Night 10 of the Best of the Super Juniors will now only consist of 9 matches. Dragon Lee will also not participate.

*Dragon Lee’s pre-match autograph session will take place as planned
