This Week’s Friday Night SmackDown Sees A Rise In Viewership

According to Showbuzz Daily, last night’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown from Fayetteville North Carolina drew an average of 2.446 million viewers, a rise of 5.2% from last week’s episode. The program was number 2 overall in the 18-49 demographic behind the Oregon versus Utah NCAA college football game, with a rating of 0.7. There was a drop of roughly 8% between hour one and hour two, but the numbers are a significant improvement over the post-Thanksgiving episode, which was the blue brand’s lowest rated show since moving to the FOX network.

In terms of total viewership, SmackDown finished 7th behind Oregon vs. Utah, Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I.,Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Dateline NBC. As per usual, Blue Bloods was number one with about 7.3 million viewers.
